Peter Campbell, independant candidate for Burwood

As a long-term resident of Surrey Hills, I greatly value our tree-lined streets, parks and gardens, recreational facilities, cultural activities and diversity.  I have lived in Surrey Hills for over 20 years, our house is now in the Burwood electorate. I work as an IT Consultant. My daughter attends Canterbury Primary School.

I am not a member of any political party. If elected I will seek to represent the views of all Burwood residents in the Victoria parliament rather than the interests of any political party.

My community activities include:

South Surrey Park working bee
My wife and I completed a sustainable renovation of our Surrey Hills house in 2001, and won the City of Boroondara Sustainable Homes Gold Award in 2012.

Cycling with my daughter Chloe along the Hawthorn to Box Hill Trail Route
I am passionate about the provision of quality vital services to our community, our open spaces, heritage, clean air and conservation of energy and water. This is part of my vision to help build a better, more sustainable city and foster a vibrant and cohesive community.
